Dube & Associates is a highly recognized professional accounting services firm dedicated to helping individuals reach their business goals.  With the advisers at Dube & Associates, you can:

Keeping in mind the individual needs of each client, we have developed a fee structure that complements the quality of service provided.  Clients can choose one of the following billing methods:

Fixed Fee

Fees are based on the amount and type of work we expect to complete.  Provided there have not been any changes in the scope of the work, there will not be any adjustments to the fees.  A slight premium is placed on quotes as Dube & Associates assumes the risk of additional work being required.

Billing for Time Rendered

While an estimate is provided, the actual fees are based on the amount of time spent and the billing rate for the various team members involved with each service.  For example, if a service takes 12 hours at an average rate of $120/hr, the fee will be $1,440.  With this billing method the risk of additional work rests with the client, allowing the client to benefit from time savings.

Example 1:
The cost for a corporation requiring a notice to reader financial statements, corporate tax returns and a meeting to review and discuss the financial statements will generally range between $1,500 and $2,000.

Example 2:
The cost to complete a standard tax return is $100, with additional charges for any rental and business statements or investments work (i.e. figuring out capital gains, etc.)  Clients with 5 rental statements and 2 business statements can expect to pay a fee of approximately $590.  If the same taxpayer had a spouse who jointly owned all of the rentals and businesses, the total minimum fees between the spouses would be $935 as each statement would be half the price for the first spouse.  Additional fees of $50 per statement apply for new business or properties (or new to us).  Keep in mind that these fees are our minimum fees and we ultimately bill based on the amount of time required to complete your return.
